With the end of the Ling Cod season approaching in a week and half I wanted to get out again to poke around with the new line set up. While we didn’t connect with our intended target, we did have a blast catching and releasing numerous rock bass up to 6-7# in 65′ of water.
Many were caught suspended in 12′-30′ and once again Mr. Huling was the master caster and catcher again. Back to the fly tying station to add a little more wiggle and flash to my simple patterns.
Really enjoying the line system and ability to know the depths and lengths. These rock bass are a blast to catch on the fly rod!
