I really needed some time on the water. After working some long hours and days and with no fish to hand was experiencing some cabin fever. It has been the wettest winter on record for Seattle and I was craving some sunshine, fresh air and water to calm my soul.
I just finished the install of the Yamaha T8 long shaft tiller motor. I wanted to test the hot water plumbing and the Macs stainless prop saver. Both worked flawlessly, the kicker motor just purred and ran wonderfully.
Phil briefly had a takedown but lost the fish at the hook set at the south end of Mercer Island and the Cedar River. After making a move to the north end of I-90 I had a takedown and landed a small resident Coho. After releasing it, we had enough and decided that some warm food and happy hour at Daniel’s Broiler was a good idea.
Great getting out and catching up with my little brother Phil.
