We spent a Sunday afternoon on the Jefferson Park short 9 since the weather was sunny and a bit warmer. Kids are free after noon and it was nice to walk alongside them as they left a trail of wedged out lawn along the way.
I wanted to take a peek at the waterfront since I’d been spending so much time down there this week learning more about the squid. I haven’t seen the water on a low tide, but arrived about and hour prior to the low. I started on the wheel side and didn’t have much luck.
I glanced over at the Aquarium side and it appeared the bite was on. My wife had gone over to explore with our youngest son. My older son and I packed up and moved to get in with the action.
We found a spot and bellied up to the railing and cast out. The water line was alot lower, but soon after the first squid came to hand. My family was soon tired and hungry, so I called it and we went to Ocean city for some Chinese food.
Only brought back 9-10 squid, which I’ll hopefully add more to this week.
